Our New Home Warranty

Persimmon Homes wants to ensure that new homeowners are 100% satisfied with a Persimmon built home. We offer an extensive home warranty program that covers all major components of the entire structure and site work for a period of up to one (1) year after the date of possession of the new home.

Throughout the construction process, a high degree of attention is given to every detail of the building process and strick construction practices are used by all the contractors involved in the building of a new home. Even with every precaution, there is always a small chance something will need to be tweeked, tightened or touched up. We want our new homeowners to know that we stand behind our work and they can have peace of mind knowing that we will take care faults covered under our extensive warranty.

Our goal is to build very high quality homes and to have all of our homeowners to be completely satisfied with the product and experience.

A few items that are not covered:

Defects in appliances or equipment which are covered by manufacturer’s warranties.
Damage due to ordinary wear and tear, abusive use, misuse, or lack of proper maintenance.
Defects which are the result of characteristics common to materials used, such as warping, defection of wood, fading, chalking, checking, shrinking and cracking.


Defects in items installed or supplied, or hire out by, the homeowner.
Loss or injury due to the elements, which are extreme and unprecedented in nature.
Conditions resulting from condensation on, or expansion and contraction of materials within normal reasonable limits.
Construction items not requiring service, such as shrinkage or swelling of wood flooring, checks and twisting of exposed rough joists and beams, hairline checking, normal fading and shrinkage.
